As you probably know, Apple is rumored to launch three new smartphones this year: the iPhone 7s and 7s Plus, the successors of 2016’s models, as well as the brand new iPhone 8, a revolutionary model, marking the Cupertino-based manufacturer’s smartphone’s 10th anniversary.
One of the most interesting features of the upcoming iPhone 8 will be the wireless charging, something that users have been craving for lately. However, it seems that it won’t be that easy to use it!
To be more specific, according to BGR, users can take advantage of wireless charging just after purchasing an additional accessory. And like we know Apple, it won’t come for cheap!
And like this wasn’t enough, it seems that the iPhone 8 won’t even come with the Lightning to 3.5mm headphone jack adapter they used to include with the iPhone 7, forcing those who want to use third party headphones to purchase it separately. Not cool Apple, not cool…
But, surprisingly, it doesn’t end here. The iPhone 8 will not come with a Lightning to USB Type-C adapter either. We’re very curious if in about an year or so they decide to sell their smartphones without a charger!
However, it’s worth mentioning that the real top feature of the iPhone 8 will be the completely new designed, featuring an edge to edge OLED display, as well as sensors like the TouchID embedded into the display itself. Also, it will have a curved display, with sensors on both sides!
Finally, it’s worth mentioning that this new smartphone will be pretty expensive as well, some rumors pointing at over $1000, which is definitely way too much for a smartphone. But this is just a rumor after all, so, for the moment, we should just wait…
