I know the flow of articles and the like has been slow lately, but that's going to be changing. I got to finally release AdaptCMS v1.2 and I'll get some time to start on a few tutorials.

Be sure to vote on our new poll too, this month we're asking what style of PHP you code in - Standard, OOP (Object-Oriented), Depending on the Script or you don't know PHP.

Be sure to check out AdaptCMS v1.2 in the meanwhile and stay tuned, we're going to be having a new website part of the Insane Visions network! Happy coding.

I apologize for the lack of updates, much work in the past few weeks has been going towards GTA IV Universe. However I do have good news, AdaptCMS Lite and Pro v1.2 will be releasing Monday.

Insane Visions - News: AdaptCMS v1.2 - Major Version (kinda)

After a week without posting, I feel I need to post something and I have a bit of something to reveal.

I'm always pretty quiet about the progress of AdaptCMS (always thinking how it could be incorporated into the site) and aside from a blog about the features in the next version, it's a mystery until release. (same with OneCMS) However, v1.2 of AdaptCMS will (kind of) be a major version.

I say this because several things like stats and polls have been re-structured as well as several core features, cookies have been switched to sessions and several major features are awaiting to be done, including Subscriptions, which would make big changes. I hate to call 1.2 a "Major Version", but it is not a minor upgrade. I'll call it a "mini, major version".

I'll be doing another blog about site making, if you have any suggestion on what to cover or suggestions for what our next tutorial should be, leave a comment or contact us.

Insane Visions - Tutorials: PHP and Forms

We finally have a new tutorial up, this time covering the basics of using PHP and Forms, take a look:

"You probably have a CMS or at least a blog script running on your website and to add articles, among other things, you fill out a form. If you've ever wondered how that translated over to a blog being added to a database and how it's verified, then you will want to read this tutorial."

PHP and Forms - Tutorial [View]

A belated blog about a few of the new features and improvements that will be in AdaptCMS Lite/Pro v1.2, check it out:

"This started a bit earlier than before, several ideas popped in my
head. Besides new features, there are enhancements even with smaller
things such as a new folder setup and upgraded wysiwyg editor.

Below I'll talk about a few of the new features for AdaptCMS Pro/Lite v1.2."
