@ Dec 07, 07 - 6:49 pm
AdaptCMS Lite v1.0 will be releasing in the coming weeks and it needs beta testers. For the first time in Insane Visions history, this beta will be, essentially, a public beta. The only clause is that you are a registered member and then you fill out a form. Beta Signup Page If you want to participate with the beta, simply go to that link above and make sure you are logged in (if not, then register) and fill out a few fields such as you're website and AIM. Then when the Beta is released, you will be able to download it by clicking on the "Beta" link and wuvala! To make it even easier, an e-mail will be sent out to all those signed up once the Beta is released. Thanks!

The AdaptCMS v1.0 sale of 50% is now over, however the prices of the script is not going up to $50, it will be going down to $35 until AdaptCMS Pro comes along (price not known yet). The price staying at $35 until the Pro version is released, is to have a lower price than the $50, which some webmasters may find too pricey for there needs, some websites are using AdaptCMS just for a blog. Beta signups for AdaptCMS Lite v1.0 will be up sometime this week and more details on both Lite and Pro will be released this week. Stay tuned.

New Tutorial, AdaptCMS Lite Beta Upcoming

@ Nov 29, 07 - 10:17 pm
After two days of GED testing I'm (hopefully) done with it and don't have to worry about school until college. Because of that I've been having more time on web stuff. I for one opened up a bengals website, Bengals Chatter. For IV news, I'll be posting another tutorial soon. Not 100% sure on what exactly, maybe one on sending out mail using PHP, opening and reading files or something like that. Also there will be an AdaptCMS Lite Beta signup fairly soon. In the past I've simply asked for volunteers and sent them a copy, but I think this year it will be better as you will simply fill in some info and when the beta is available, you will be able to download it. That should be in the coming weeks.

AdaptCMS - Updates Log, Features

@ Nov 25, 07 - 5:16 pm
Just more of a small update than anything, letting people know that the previously posted Updates Log, is now back to being updated. It's just a bit of a feature here at AdaptCMS.com, but allows all visitors to the site see the latest features being added to the script, like a behind-the-scenes look. In other news, AdaptCMS Lite was approved and is now on sourceforge. When released, it will be downloadable there and does help with popularity, of course. Continued...

AdaptCMS Lite - Coming

@ Nov 17, 07 - 8:55 pm
At this point I can confidently say that AdaptCMS Lite WILL happen. I have some ideas of what will separate Pro and Lite, that will be revealed not too long from now. AdaptCMS Lite, when released, will be available to download on sourceforge (application pending) and will be released under the GNU GPL license, like OneCMS. Without really starting much on AdaptCMS Lite, I can say that most of the major features and functions from AdaptCMS v1, will stay. Most of the differences between Lite and Pro are expected to be new features and functions. Lastly keep an eye out for the upcoming launch of both the official AdaptCMS Pro and AdaptCMS Lite websites.

Testimonials
I use OneCMS as the backend of my site, VisionPS3.com. Why? Because OneCMS is the best content management system that I have ever used, it is also very easy, extremely customizable, and has a very small learning curve. In addition, it comes backed by one of the most knowledgeable programmers that I know, which is Chuck, the creator of OneCMS. He never hesitated to get hands-on with the small amounts of problems I ran into, as he knows the CMS like the back of his hand. A big thanks goes out to the creator of OneCMS for creating, managing, and helping with the greatest CMS on the web! |||||2 - Jesse Wingert, Founder/Owner, VisionPS3.com |
