New version of OneCMS?
 | |
@ Sep 15, 07 - 1:30 pm
Once again, I know, quite a bit of time between updates. Work, moving and a lot of things going on all at once. AdaptCMS has been released but not really bringing in traffic. I do think paid commercial scripts where I can put special attention is important but also alternatives, is very important. There are no specifics but I do now have plans to put out a new version of OneCMS, which would be OneCMS v2.5. There hasn't been a release in quite a while and it was planned for Fall and put off, but I plan on beginning work on it soon.

AdaptCMS - Released!
 |
@ Jul 07, 07 - 2:25 am
After over a year in development and numerous delays, AdaptCMS v1.0 is finally available to purchase!
Boasting a low price tag and a large amount of features, the script also allows it to be used on any type of content website. With full permissions, a web-based template system, custom sections and sub-sections with a "relations" feature and full settings, AdaptCMS is also very customizable.

AdaptCMS - Release next week!
 |
@ Jun 30, 07 - 2:23 pm
After 13 months of development I can finally say (with confidence) that AdaptCMS will be releasing next week. An exact day is not known but I am off Tuesday, 10-2 Monday and am off Friday & Saturday, so I am leaning towards Friday as I will try and get off Sunday (birthday :) ).
The script will be $50 USD and packs will be available soon after release. I will post more details when I know them.
Thank you.

Store Online
 |
@ Jun 24, 07 - 2:01 am
With preparing for the release of OneCMS, numerous new features have been/will be added and one of them is the Insane Visions Store. Originally the plan was for there to be a "verification process" because frankly, Paypal's PIN system was confusing. But mid-late last week I stumbled upon a few items that explained the system and then an actual "demo" type script by Paypal themselves. So after a LOT of coding, the store is finally online and running.
When you checkout you are first faced with a confirm page and then after a quick process page you are taken to paypal. After paying through paypal you are returned to the Download Area and then after filling out, say the domain, if you bought the AdaptCMS script, you can immediately download the script. Quick, easy and no hassles!

AdaptCMS - Packs
 |
@ Jun 09, 07 - 2:47 am
Another time length of no updates, pretty much still work. We aren't as shorthanded (at all, infact) and I am getting my 20-25 hours I asked for. This upcoming week I am only getting 15 on 3 days (sunday, monday, wednesday) so I will finally have time again for the script.
The script itself is basically finished (although I am thinking of adding, I swear, just one more thing to it) and I only really have the "Packs" left to finish, which isn't a small quick task. Once the Game and Blog packs are finished, then it will be ready for release. I also have to prepare marketing so the road to release is definitely in sight, especially with the currently smaller work hours.

AdaptCMS - Last Stages
 |
@ May 15, 07 - 1:40 am
I know it seems the script is always "upcoming" but trust me it really is. I worked just last week 5 days straight including a long 3-11 shift on the last day so I have been quite busy. That said, on my first day off in a while I got a few bugs quirked out as well as what I believe is the finished "default" build.
The only part left to do is for myself, to do several things on the backend of this site so I can monitor reports and such as well as make "pre-sites" for likely Games, Blog and probably more after release. These "pre-sites" setup custom fields, templates for various categories, perfect for those that want a flexible CMS but don't have the patience/time to get it setup for say there gaming website.

I use OneCMS as the backend of my site, VisionPS3.com. Why? Because OneCMS is the best content management system that I have ever used, it is also very easy, extremely customizable, and has a very small learning curve. In addition, it comes backed by one of the most knowledgeable programmers that I know, which is Chuck, the creator of OneCMS. He never hesitated to get hands-on with the small amounts of problems I ran into, as he knows the CMS like the back of his hand. A big thanks goes out to the creator of OneCMS for creating, managing, and helping with the greatest CMS on the web! |||||2 - Jesse Wingert, Founder/Owner, VisionPS3.com |
