Looking for Staff

With the upcoming beta release of AdaptCMS and upcoming work on AdaptBB 1.1, it seems time that Insane Visions gets a staff. For those that don't know, for a little while now, it's been run solo. It's worked okay lately but with the work starting on a second script and the lack of updates on this site - it definitely needs more activity and more help.
Also with a planned brand new version of Insane Visions, we will definitely need the help. Let me just start out with the bad news - these positions are not paid. I would love to do it but I make very little ad money as it is and not even close to enough to pay for staff, it supports hosting and domain costs. (and even then, hardly) Down the road where I do envision this as a company or when the site becomes profitable, then it'd happen - but not right now.
If you are still interested here is what I'm looking for:
- Programmers: This is of course needed the most. Right now I'm looking for any amount I can get, but preferably 2 to help share the load. I do program in the old style PHP (not OOP), so that is a necessity. I would expect at least 6 months, preferably 1 year experience and a given that you know HTML/CSS/etc.
- Freelancer: If you just want to contribute every once in a while, a tutorial, news about the PHP/tech world or that - look at the link below.
- Article Writer: Basically a freelancer except you are a regular contributor.
- Promoter/Misc: One thing we need is to get the word out. I'll do what I can, but we need someone that is better at it then I am. ;)
How to Apply: If you are interested in any of the above or would
like to help out in another way, fill out the below form:
Thank you.

Looking for Staff

We've had a lot going on lately here at Insane Visions! AdaptCMS 1.3 is going to be released in the coming few weeks, AdaptBB is back in development, we're working on a few tutorials that will be online soon and OneCMS v2.6 is coming.
That's two active scripts (AdaptCMS, AdaptBB), one semi-active script (OneCMS) and all the while keeping updated on Insane Visions, a lot of work! So we are looking for some help. Here is what we are looking for:
- Programmers: This is the main need. If you are a PHP programmer with at least 1 year of experience, keep reading to see the link to give us a call. We also expect you are proficient in HTML of course as well as basics of MySQL. If you help out with AdaptCMS you do get paid, but don't expect a lot. ($30/copy - 1/3 goes to site, the rest is split between the programmers)

Larger IV Focus, OneCMS
 | |
@ Oct 04, 07 - 8:48 pm
First up is a bit of a shift for Insane Visions. In the past I have only posted updates and such on my blog. However everything pertaining to managing my sites is on IV anyway. So updates on my projects will include web site projects. Secondly progress on OneCMS v2.5 is going solid, much of the work so far has been combining files together, optimizing code, fixing a few bugs and such. An idea of some of the features should be known next week. Lastly I do have a new website, Alexa Stock Game. I am still working on the layout, once I am done with the design I'll post on digg and such to get some traffic, looking forward to see how people like it.

| I use OneCMS as the backend of my site, VisionPS3.com. Why? Because OneCMS is the best content management system that I have ever used, it is also very easy, extremely customizable, and has a very small learning curve. In addition, it comes backed by one of the most knowledgeable programmers that I know, which is Chuck, the creator of OneCMS. He never hesitated to get hands-on with the small amounts of problems I ran into, as he knows the CMS like the back of his hand. A big thanks goes out to the creator of OneCMS for creating, managing, and helping with the greatest CMS on the web! - Jesse Wingert, Founder/Owner, VisionPS3.com |
