We have a brand new tutorial online for you, covering some tips on PHP Security. Here it is, enjoy!
"I'll be the first one to admit that when I first started coding with PHP, security was the last thing I thought about. My focus was learning the basics and actually getting things to work. Now years later, Security is my number one concern along with other PHP Developers."

Bot Detection with PHP
 |
 @ Jun 07, 08 - 8:46 pm
After a long hiatus, we have a new tutorial online that shows how to detect bots with PHP. Check it out:
"In the ongoing work of my PHP CMS, AdaptCMS, one thing I have
basically worked on every version is stats. Every time someone loads a
page, info is stored (date, ip, browser, os, username, referral, etc.).
I either find a new way to make the stats more accessible or a new bit
of important info. Recently I noticed some websites I was visiting were
displaying bots currently at the site ("Googlebot", "MSN Bot", etc.)
and found out something new and important to keep track of."

BlogPHP Support
 | |
@ Sep 27, 07 - 8:25 pm
I never made it official, but to make it clear to everyone - BlogPHP is not owned or run in any way by myself or Insane Visions any longer. I removed links, buttons and such, but just so people understand for sure. I will also be removing appropriate items so things such as support will reflect the ownership change. In other news, I should have some details on OneCMS v2.5 soon and possibly a new project.

BlogPHP v3.0 coming
 |
@ Sep 18, 06 - 3:04 pm
I apologize for the delay in updates but I have two big news to announce. First BlogPHP v3.0 is currently in the works and already has immense progress. Not only will there be new features such as a completely new template system (for the frontend), extended mod_rewrite, a new default admin/frontend skin but we also have a new member on board - Jason.
Jason has worked on numerous open source scripts, two of the most popular are Vortex Portal and the gaming CMS, Igaming. He brings much to this script and for those waiting for the next version will definitely be blown away once this script nears completion.
That's all for now. Expect to see more updates, specifically on progress from both me and Jason. Thank you for your continued support.
As well for OneCMS, the last "major version" will hopefully release winter of this year or spring 2007.

Testimonials
I have dealt with many CMSes before. I have had my fair share of disappointments. At first, I had a rough time with OneCMS. Thanks to the awesome support with OneCMS, I am now gliding along easily. Even making modifications! I have never dealt with this level of support, especially on a free program, before. I think that Chuck shows great devotion, and props on the CMS. |||||9 - Scott Berlin, Founder/Webmaster, Wired-Gamers.com |
