Insane Visions is and has been running on both AdaptCMS and AdaptBB for a little while now. But I wanted to post tonight because of some maintenance that's underway. Support First up is the old "Support" system. It's not bad and it works, but has some problems. Firstly I put in a paginator, 10 support items per page. I removed where only Staff could see closed tickets, a lot of closed tickets answer some common problems. All of the mentioned is up right now, but there is more work left on it. For one, right now you submit a ticket and I can answer. You can't edit it with a further response or anything like that, I'll be fixing that. Welcome to the new version of InsaneVisions. As you can probably already tell, we have a new design and also the site is now run on a custom CMS (that may become a project) unlike before, where I manually edited pages. (ick)

I use OneCMS as the backend of my site, VisionPS3.com. Why? Because OneCMS is the best content management system that I have ever used, it is also very easy, extremely customizable, and has a very small learning curve. In addition, it comes backed by one of the most knowledgeable programmers that I know, which is Chuck, the creator of OneCMS. He never hesitated to get hands-on with the small amounts of problems I ran into, as he knows the CMS like the back of his hand. A big thanks goes out to the creator of OneCMS for creating, managing, and helping with the greatest CMS on the web! - Jesse Wingert, Founder/Owner, VisionPS3.com |
